DESCRIPTION:Wanna be a part of your local young artists scene\, join us at Corby Creatives Connect!\nCorby Creatives Connect is an opportunity to meet fellow young creatives and bond over your shared interest in the arts.\nThis will also be an opportunity to participate in a group discussion about how the Rooftop can best support young artists in the area. \nWho is invited?\nArtists between 16-18 are welcome. \nBut like\, what will we be actually doing?\nI’m glad you asked! \n\n\nChitchat: Time to hang out and get to know each other. \n\n\nCollaging Workshop: Get hands-on and creative. \n\n\nGroup Discussions: Facilitated by the event organiser\, these will be about what it’s like to be a young artist in Corby and how Rooftop can support you. \n\n\nStudio Tours: Guided by our lead gallerists. \n\n\nTea and Snacks: Provided for everyone! \n\n\n \n \nAbout the Organiser\nThe event is hosted by Nkara Stephenson\, a professional actress with stage experience on the West End and various professional stages. As a certified artist\, Nkara brings expertise in vocal techniques\, physical expression\, and character development to the program. \nIn partnership with Rooftop Arts Centre\, Nkara focuses on developing the local arts community in Corby through workshops for both young artists and adults.
