SUMMARY:"Tangled Up In Blue"
DESCRIPTION:“Tangled Up In Blue”\nAn exhibition of new and revisited work by Martin Baldock\nResident Artist in Studio 3 at Rooftop Arts \nThe inspiration for much of my work comes from the music that has accompanied me through life\, from my teenage years to the present day. A title or a line from a song will come to mind when I’m in the throes of creating a new work\, or trying to resolve an older unfinished one that has been set aside for a while. \nMy work is only occasionally figurative\, and while I admire artists who can capture the likeness of a person\, a bowl of fruit\, landscape\, or a bunch of flowers\, I’m more interested in the effects of colour\, texture\, line\, and form. “Intuitive Abstraction” is probably the most succint description of my work\, and my aim is to prompt the viewer to engage in some way\, to experience a response relevant to them. \nSee more about Martin Baldock. \nPlan your visit!\nDrop by Rooftop Arts between 4th March 2026  and 28th March 2026 to enjoy this outstanding free exhibition. \nOpening Reception\nFriday 6th March  6-8pm\, all welcome.\nFree entry and refreshments \nShare with your friends:

SUMMARY:Usual Suspects
DESCRIPTION:A distinctive voice of Urban Street Art\nRooftop Art Centre presents Usual Suspects\, a dynamic exhibition celebrating the rebellious spirit\, wit\, and cultural influence of contemporary urban and street art. Bringing together a powerful lineup of internationally recognised artists\, the exhibition features original works and limited-edition signed prints that reflect the evolution of street art from subversive city walls to the global art stage. \nFeatured Artists\nThe exhibition showcases works by some of the most influential and provocative figures working today\, including Banksy\, Pure Evil\, The Connor Brothers\, My Dog Sighs\, Sherlock\, Tracey Emin and Damien Hirst\, among others. Each artist brings a distinctive voice—whether through satire\, bold graphic language\, emotional storytelling\, or sharp social commentary. \nThemes and Influences\nFrom Banksy’s iconic visual activism to the pop-infused melancholy of Pure Evil and the darkly humorous narratives of the Connor Brothers\, Usual Suspects captures the diversity and immediacy that define urban art. Works by My Dog Sighs explore themes of isolation and empathy through haunting imagery\, while contributions from Tracey Emin and Damien Hirst highlight the dialogue between street culture and the broader contemporary art world. \n \nThe Evolution of Street Art\nThe exhibition reflects how street art continues to challenge conventions and speak directly to contemporary life. What began as an underground movement has grown into a globally recognised artistic language—one that remains rooted in accessibility\, spontaneity\, and the power of visual protest. \nExperience the Exhibition\nSet within the vibrant atmosphere of Rooftop Art Centre\, Usual Suspects invites visitors to encounter works that blur the boundaries between street and gallery\, rebellion and refinement. The exhibition celebrates the artists who turned city streets into canvases—and whose influence continues to reshape contemporary art. \nPlan your visit!\nDrop by Rooftop Arts between 1st April 2026 and 30th April 2026 to enjoy this outstanding free exhibition. \nOpening Reception\nFriday 3th April 6-8pm\, all welcome.\nFree entry and refreshments \n \nShare with your friends:

SUMMARY:Us2
DESCRIPTION:Us2 – A Visual Conversation Between Two Artists\nAre you searching for an artistic experience that moves beyond the frame? Do you feel that traditional art is sometimes too curated\, too predictable? You crave a genuine conversation—one that is chaotic\, authentic\, and entirely unique. \nToo often\, art is presented as a monolithic\, finished statement. It allows us to observe a story\, but rarely invites us to co-create it. You are looking for something that mirrors the uncontrolled\, vibrant complexity of modern life. \n‘Us2’ is that encounter.\nThis is not a piece created by a single master\, but a visual dialogue. Dinah Kazakoff and Fanoulla Georgiou work side-by-side\, letting intuition and chance steer the palette. Their combined language\, fusing collage\, paint\, and found imagery\, dissolves the line between artist and artwork. \nCollaborative work by Dinah Kazakoff and Fanoulla Georgiou \nAllow yourself this moment of discovery. As you stand before these canvasses\, you will feel your own definitions of control and beauty shifting. You will find art where meaning isn’t handed to you\, but organically emerges from the interplay of two distinct visions. \nExperience the Exhibition\nSet within the vibrant atmosphere of Rooftop Arts Centre\, Us2 invites visitors to encounter works that blur the boundaries between individual identity and shared creation\, intuition and intentionality. The exhibition celebrates the synergy of two artists who turned a single canvas into a living dialogue—and whose collaborative process continues to reshape how we perceive artistic authorship. \nPlan your visit!\nDrop by Rooftop Arts Centre between 6th May 2026 and 24th June 2026 to enjoy this outstanding free exhibition. \nOpening Reception\nFriday 8th May 6-8pm\, all welcome.\nFree entry and refreshments \nShare with your friends:
