DESCRIPTION:Unleash Your Inner Actor at Our Free Drama Club\nWhat is Drama Club?\nDrama Club is a new club we are developing at the Rooftop Arts Centre. This is a free taster session to see how the community responds to the Drama Club. We also would like to gather feedback from participants to see how we could develop the club to suit their needs. \nWho is invited?\n18+ only. \nWhat will we be doing?\n\nI’ll take you through some theatre games as a warmup.\nWe’ll learn about vocal/physical technique for an actor.\nWe’ll study a scene and create a character.\nThen finish with a short discussion.\nWe’ll ask you for feedback on the session\, and what future Drama Clubs could look like.\n\n \nAbout the Organiser\nThe event is hosted by Nkara Stephenson\, a professional actress with stage experience on the West End and various professional stages. As a certified artist\, Nkara brings expertise in vocal techniques\, physical expression\, and character development to the program. \nIn partnership with Rooftop Arts Centre\, Nkara focuses on developing the local arts community in Corby through workshops for both young artists and adults.
