Letters become art.\nWhat happens when you stop thinking of words simply as something to read\, and start seeing them as lines\, shapes\, patterns and visual forms? \n \nIn this fun and inspiring 3-hour workshop\, you’ll explore the creative possibilities of typography and discover how letters and words can become the starting point for an artwork of their own. \nThrough a series of playful\, accessible exercises\, you’ll experiment with scale\, composition\, colour and mark-making\, transforming familiar letters and words into bold visual compositions. \nYou don’t need to be an experienced artist — this workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who simply fancy trying something a little different. \nAll materials are provided.
