With nearly 30 years of experience in the arts, Fanoulla Georgiou has built a dynamic and passionate career as an art educator. She is currently the Head of Art Education at Rooftop Arts in Corby, where she leads creative initiatives and fosters a community-driven approach to artistic expression.
Fanoulla studied Fine Art at the University of Derby, earning a master’s degree with a focus on life drawing and illustration. Throughout her career, she has exhibited her own artwork in various cities, including London, Derby, Halifax, and Corby, showcasing her diverse talent in mixed media.
Her teaching philosophy is deeply rooted in the belief that creativity transcends boundaries. Fanoulla is particularly passionate about community arts, where she works to bring together individuals of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds to share in the transformative power of art.
Outside of teaching, Fanoulla enjoys traveling, photography, and writing poetry, which further enrich her artistic perspective and personal creativity. Her expertise in mixed media and her commitment to community arts continue to inspire students and colleagues alike.
