Exhibition Space Application Form

We invite you to take advantage of our unique exhibition space, perfect for showcasing art of any type. Our venue offers:

  • Functionality: We provide flexible layouts that can be tailored to
    your individual needs. Our space is suitable for both intimate events and larger presentations.
  • Location: Situated in the heart of the town, we ensure easy access
    for participants and enhance the visibility of your event with a shop
    front window.
  • Supporting Infrastructure: Our technical facilities include
    capabilities for audio-visual systems, specialized lighting, and has
    fiber high speed internet access, ensuring that every event runs
    smoothly.
  • Professional Support: Our staff is available to assist with organizing and coordinating the event, allowing you to focus on your presentation.

How to Reserve the Space?

  1. Check Availability: Use our online calendar or call for available dates.
  2. Submit an Inquiry: Fill out and submit a space application form, and we will contact you to discuss the details.
  3. Booking Confirmation: After finalizing the details and paying a
    deposit, you will receive a booking confirmation along with further
    payment information.

The 2025 calendar for the Large Gallery has limited available dates, however we have more dates available in the Small Gallery.

Gallery Space

The gallery space is a flexible well-lit space with the added benefit of shop frontage and direct access from the high street.

Large Gallery costs £325 per session (approximately 3 weeks of
exhibit time + install and dismantle days) for solo or group exhibitions.
Size 10m x 6m.

Small Gallery costs £275 per session for solo or group exhibitions.
Size 7.5m x 6m.

If you wish to hire both areas per session period the cost will be £500.

Classrooms

We have classroom areas with tables and chairs available at £20 per hour (minimum 2hrs).

Project Space

Large first floor, well-lit project space equipped with tables and chairs available at £20 per hour (3 hrs minimum) with negotiable full daily rates.

Meeting Room Space

Both the Class room and Project room spaces make ideal meeting room alternatives to other venues. Why not add a creative dimension to your next corporate meeting in the ROOFTOP Art Centre. We can work together to make your next meeting a success.

Studio Space Rental

From time to time Studios become available for new resident artists, if you are interested in taking a studio please contact the Rooftop to check availability or to complete an application form to be placed on the waiting list.

Additional information regarding art exhibitions

Once you have submitted your application we will get back to you as soon as possible.

It is advised that you put in your application as soon as possible as there is a first come first served policy and your preferred dates may become unavailable. The Rooftop team will need time to plan and market your event.

Full terms and conditions of your use of the space will be given to you once your application has been accepted. You will then be asked to sign an agreement and pay a deposit to confirm your booking.

Insurance

The gallery has Public Liability insurance but it cannot provide insurance for your exhibits. Please make sure to insure your exhibition as the gallery will take no responsibility for loss or damage to work on display.
