The Annual Winter Exhibition is an open entry show available to artists from Northamptonshire and the surrounding counties. The exhibition aims to give new and emerging artists the opportunity to show their work for the first time and allow established artists to have a continued presence in the area.
This year’s collection is a profound dialogue across different creative languages.
You will encounter:
- Intimate Portraits: Works that linger in the gaze, capturing the subtle architecture of human expression through meticulous technique.
- Echoes & Imagination: Art that ventures beyond the immediate, exploring the resonance of folklore, memory, and deep cultural currents.
- The Discipline of Line: Striking studies in graphite and charcoal that transform the everyday – from wildlife to personal likenesses – into unforgettable visual statements.
- Elemental Journeys: Creations inspired by the enduring power of nature, where water, light, and landscape become a living language.
More than just a collection of pieces, this is a gathering of distinct creative journeys.
Artists from every corner of the region bring their unique perspectives – shaped by countless experiences – to this single, shared space. Each artwork holds a chapter of dedication, a piece of a story, ready to be discovered by you.
