The Walls Are Closing: See Banksy and the Legends Before They Vanish from RAC.
Do you remember that moment? That instant you stop, captivated, by the power, the wit, and the sheer force of a piece of street art? Urban art is more than just graffiti; it is culture, protest, and a mirror reflecting the contemporary world.
The ‘USUAL SUSPECTS’ exhibition at Rooftop Art Centre offers exactly that encounter. It is a powerful congregation of the most influential voices in contemporary art—from the iconic visual activism of Banksy, to the emotional storytelling of Tracey Emin, and the darkly humorous narratives of Connor Brothers.
The News You Need to Know: Time is running out.
We have granted a brief, final extension based on incredible demand. But this means the window is rapidly closing.
🚨 FINAL WARNING: The exhibition closes on May 2nd.
You have only two days left to step into the world of ‘Usual Suspects’.
Don’t let this cultural journey become a footnote. Imagine the feeling of standing directly in front of a Damien Hirst or a Pure Evil piece—that energy is unique and temporary.
Beyond the Experience: Owning the Art.
If you feel a deep connection to a piece, remember that the experience doesn’t have to end when the exhibition does. We are also offering certified ArtPrints and select original works by the featured artists. This is a rare chance to not only see the art but to own a piece of this global phenomenon.
Don’t let the art vanish without a trace.
🗓️ Final Dates:
- The Doors Close: May 2nd
- Location: Rooftop Art Centre
- Entry: Free

Us2 – A Visual Conversation Between Two Artists
Are you searching for an artistic experience that moves beyond the frame? Do you feel that traditional art is sometimes too curated, too predictable? You crave a genuine conversation—one that is chaotic, authentic, and entirely unique.
Too often, art is presented as a monolithic, finished statement. It allows us to observe a story, but rarely invites us to co-create it. You are looking for something that mirrors the uncontrolled, vibrant complexity of modern life.
‘Us2’ is that encounter.
This is not a piece created by a single master, but a visual dialogue. Dinah Kazakoff and Fanoulla Georgiou work side-by-side, letting intuition and chance steer the palette. Their combined language, fusing collage, paint, and found imagery, dissolves the line between artist and artwork.

Collaborative work by Dinah Kazakoff and Fanoulla Georgiou
Allow yourself this moment of discovery. As you stand before these canvasses, you will feel your own definitions of control and beauty shifting. You will find art where meaning isn’t handed to you, but organically emerges from the interplay of two distinct visions.
Experience the Exhibition
Set within the vibrant atmosphere of Rooftop Arts Centre, Us2 invites visitors to encounter works that blur the boundaries between individual identity and shared creation, intuition and intentionality. The exhibition celebrates the synergy of two artists who turned a single canvas into a living dialogue—and whose collaborative process continues to reshape how we perceive artistic authorship.

A distinctive voice of Urban Street Art
Rooftop Art Centre presents Usual Suspects, a dynamic exhibition celebrating the rebellious spirit, wit, and cultural influence of contemporary urban and street art. Bringing together a powerful lineup of internationally recognised artists, the exhibition features original works and limited-edition signed prints that reflect the evolution of street art from subversive city walls to the global art stage.
Featured Artists
The exhibition showcases works by some of the most influential and provocative figures working today, including Banksy, Pure Evil, The Connor Brothers, My Dog Sighs, Sherlock, Tracey Emin and Damien Hirst, among others. Each artist brings a distinctive voice—whether through satire, bold graphic language, emotional storytelling, or sharp social commentary.
Themes and Influences
From Banksy’s iconic visual activism to the pop-infused melancholy of Pure Evil and the darkly humorous narratives of the Connor Brothers, Usual Suspects captures the diversity and immediacy that define urban art. Works by My Dog Sighs explore themes of isolation and empathy through haunting imagery, while contributions from Tracey Emin and Damien Hirst highlight the dialogue between street culture and the broader contemporary art world.

The Evolution of Street Art
The exhibition reflects how street art continues to challenge conventions and speak directly to contemporary life. What began as an underground movement has grown into a globally recognised artistic language—one that remains rooted in accessibility, spontaneity, and the power of visual protest.
Experience the Exhibition
Set within the vibrant atmosphere of Rooftop Art Centre, Usual Suspects invites visitors to encounter works that blur the boundaries between street and gallery, rebellion and refinement. About the Exhibition
Rooftop Arts Centre is delighted to present “Tangled Up In Blue”, a solo exhibition by our resident artist, Martin Baldock. This collection showcases a blend of entirely new pieces and revisited works that reflect the artist’s ongoing creative journey.
Musical Inspiration
The core of Martin’s work is deeply connected to the music that has accompanied him from his teenage years to the present day. Often, a specific title or a poignant line from a song provides the necessary spark to begin a new canvas or resolve an unfinished piece that has been set aside.
Intuitive Abstraction
While Martin admires figurative art, his personal focus lies in the evocative power of colour, texture, line, and form. He describes his style as “Intuitive Abstraction,” aiming to move beyond literal representation to prompt a unique, personal response from every viewer.

Meet the Artist: Martin Baldock
Martin Baldock is a multi-disciplinary artist, musician, and writer based in Studio 3 at Rooftop Arts. He also serves as a Trustee for the charity, contributing significantly to the local arts community.
Born in Kent in 1948, Martin’s work is informed by a “rebellious spirit” and a wide array of influences, including Rembrandt, Picasso, Duchamp, and Pollock. Beyond the canvas, he is an active musician and poet, frequently blending these mediums in his creative practice.

“Tangled Up In Blue”
An exhibition of new and revisited work by Martin Baldock
Resident Artist in Studio 3 at Rooftop Arts
The inspiration for much of my work comes from the music that has accompanied me through life, from my teenage years to the present day. A title or a line from a song will come to mind when I’m in the throes of creating a new work, or trying to resolve an older unfinished one that has been set aside for a while.
My work is only occasionally figurative, and while I admire artists who can capture the likeness of a person, a bowl of fruit, landscape, or a bunch of flowers, I’m more interested in the effects of colour, texture, line, and form. “Intuitive Abstraction” is probably the most succint description of my work, and my aim is to prompt the viewer to engage in some way, to experience a response relevant to them.
